GRIEF

GRIEF & REJECTION

Are you living a life devoid of love?
So many of life’s problems have their origin in the removal of love. From a complete lack of love, through to grief and rejection; it can come in many forms and from many people, including our parents, friends and partners. We may feel rejected after the breakdown of a relationship especially if we have been cheated on by our spouse. We lose close family and friends, sometimes unexpectedly and traumatically.

The loss of a child is probably one of the most imaginable things ever, but it happens and wrecks lives. I lost a sister in a road accident, she was 7 at the time, so I’ve been a witness to this has on a family. We accumulate emotional scars in childhood, during adolescence and throughout adulthood. These emotional scars layer on top of each other and burden us down. We find ourselves drowning in grief and unable to cope with life, sometimes years after the event.
We all experience these at some time, in a particular form, at some level. With time most of us can move on; although others struggle and enter a prolonged state of ‘parasympathetic shock’, which makes their life intolerable. Grief is a very deep emotional pain that left untreated can lead to all sorts of physical and emotional illnesses.
